The Big Reveal from Tampa

Team Work Makes The Dream Work!

It’s hard to believe on the 15th of May, we will begin our sixth month of living in Tampa. We moved here from Northern California in December.  After spending about two months of that time with our house torn up due to our remodel, we feel like we are finally home in our house.  It has a lot of mixed styles, but leans toward a Coastal vibe.

Never one to rest in this house with status quo, this week we received a quote from our all-star contractor, Chris Robinson of Tampa Home Pro, to have our bathrooms remodeled! Can’t wait to see those redone as well!

But, before that work begins, it’s fun to look back at what our house was prior to our remodel.   We knew from the minute that we walked i the open house, we would remodel the living room and kitchen.  The first video was before we painted anything and includes the entry way, living room and kitchen.  The second video was #DemoDay.

Instead of describing the this and that of each room, I’ll just say we had all new flooring put in downstairs, and new carpet upstairs. We also had every wall and ceiling painted! We tore out three walls, added a closet in the living room, and totally updated the kitchen with new cabinets, flooring, an island and more.

Drum roll please!

This room was going to be an office, but we are turning it to a bar room of sorts. We need to find a couple of cool patterned wing chairs and a little table. It will be a great in between room when we have dinner parties!

The after, which is now a dining room. We are going to have a chandelier added soon.

Because I love fresh flowers and plants – a few extra photos!

Our house always seems to be a work in progress, but it’s made great strides. I have to thank Nancy and Doug Wood, of the Wood Team, for helping us find this amazing team! And also a huge shout out to Chris Robinson, our contractor with Tampa Home Pro!
